CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstract submissions now closed

The Conference Committee has received abstracts for oral and poster presentations relevant to the conference theme “Water: Above, Below and Beyond - Changes Facing Civilisation”.

The Conference will consist of several broad scientific sub-themes under which the scientific committee is putting together a wide range of exciting sessions convened by experts in their respective fields. 

 

THEMES:

  • Water quantity and quality

  • Groundwater and surface water interaction

  • Extremes, hazards, impacts, and the effects of climate change

  • Data: monitoring, visualisation and management

  • Catchments & communities

  • Irrigation, drainage recharge and allocation

  • Environmental flows

  • Urban catchments

  • Modelling development, prediction and data assimilation

  • Lake catchments and management

  • Geothermal waters

  • Infrastructure

  • River Management

  • Water Contamination/restoration( both surface and groundwater)

  • Sediment quality and quantity


While efforts will be made to accept an abstract for the presentation type selected in the submission process, the Scientific Programme Committee reserves the right to allocate a different presentation type if more appropriate and if programme space is limited.
